Special Event Permit
Festivals, performances, road races, parades, charity walks and similar events that use public right-of-ways require a special event permit. In addition, rentals requesting additional amenities such as a bounce houses, petting zoos, game trailers, food vendors (ice cream man, snow cone truck, food truck), amplified music or any event open to the public also require a special event permit.
A special event permit must be approved by the Parks Director and the Recreation Director. A special event fee based on event attendance will apply, as well.
Special event permit requests require a minimum of 30 days notice. For larger events, the request may require up to 180 days notice. The process for most requests is as follows:

You complete and return the application and agreement
Complete and electronically sign the document, returning it to reservations@ofallon.mo.us. -
We begin drafting the permit and begin discussing logistics with Parks staff

We receive required documents from your vendors
These documents may include a certificate of insurance, health permits, etc. -
We send the permit to the Parks Director and the Recreation Director for approval

You pay the special events fee
