O’Fallon residents are allowed to legally celebrate our nation’s independence by shooting off fireworks at home. The City of O'Fallon’s fireworks ordinance allows the discharge of fireworks on July 3rd and 4th from noon until 11 p.m.

Residents do not need a permit to discharge fireworks during the allowed hours. However, anyone under age 16 who discharges fireworks must be in the company of an adult age 21 or older, and the timeframes will be strictly enforced. Additionally, residents are reminded to make sure to celebrate safely, respect neighbors and clean up any debris.

If you wish to make a fireworks complaint, do not call 911. Instead, call the O’Fallon Police Department's non-emergency line at 636-240-3200.
